St. Jean Du Sud
We focus our efforts in St. Jean du Sud, a small farming community near Les Cayes in southern Haiti and the hometown of our founder, Gulbert. Our close ties to the area help us work closely with the community to create lasting impact.

As part of our commitment to working alongside the farmers we partner with, we recently held a collaborative brainstorming session. Farmers gathered in groups to share their ideas and identify their top hopes and priorities for the community of St. Jean du Sud.

During the session, the farmers identified two key goals for strengthening their community’s agricultural future: Establishing a nursery for fruit-bearing trees to provide sustainable planting options for farmers. Developing a composting area to promote natural fertilization and improve soil health across local farms."

The 2nd meeting took place at the property of Gulbert’s mother, chosen to showcase the rich biodiversity of crops and trees Gulbert has cultivated over the past 15 years.

Fenelon and Frankel led local farmers to a plot of land in St. Jean they hope to cultivate, outlining the steps needed to transform it into productive, fruit-bearing farmland.
